The room was clean, large enough, with high ceilings, warm (even too warm, in January I had to open the window) and quiet. The location was great: close to the city center, bus station, metro and train station. Breakfast was super: good espresso/ capuccino and a large selection of baked goods and cold cuts, several hot dishes such as scrambled eggs, polenta and sausages. The terrace was a really good place for breakfast even in winter. Very cool hotel. It is not new, but in good condition. I felt like we were living in a real museum and it was an amazing experience. I really wouldn’t want this incredible atmosphere to be spoiled by modern renovations.

Breakfast is all right; avoided the eggs, as we're pretty sure they were powdered, but there was plenty of choice in terms of breads, deli meats, and pastries. It was a great place to come back to after wandering around the city all day. Overall, it was a pleasant time, and we enjoyed ourselves!

The lobby, the room and the hotel in general was beautiful. The staff was super friendly and helpful in booking tours throughout Rome. The restaurant is second to none. We at there every day as well as outside restaurants and the one in the hotel was just as good if not better than others. It is close enough to walk to most tour spots.
